5. Take time off and clear your mind

Have you been in a situation where you don’t feel like you making progress. Everything that you doing is just stagnant. No matter how much effort you put into your craft the results are just not showing. What I do, and this might work for you as well. Take a couple of days off! This may sound absurd, there are bills to pay and opportunities to be taken advantage of. However, as difficult as it may seem you have to remain focused on the long term. Your mental health, clarity of mind and the health of your voice are irreplaceable. The magic that a couple of days away can do is mind blowing. During this period away from the microphone, I realize how much I love being a Voice Talent and it gives me time to appreciate the work that I do. It may not appeal to others but the ones that I can reach out and make a difference for… that is what I live for. I love knowing that one day when I leave this beautiful place, my kids and those who follow can always hear me through my work. To all the Voice Talents out there, the work that we do is amazing never dwell on the few who don’t have an appreciation for your work, but live for those who’s lives you make a difference in.
